[QUOTE=Tear Of Cherokee]I totally agree. First of all arent these ELITE missions? Which in the name basically premotes that the lesser of skill player shouldnt make an attempt? The worst part about it is 98% of the people there arent even running the tested builds for success. QUOTE]
you seriously have no idea how hard i was laughing when i read this. do you even know how those builds became tested builds. ppl went there and put something that looked good together and ran with it. it worked so they told more ppl about the builds. i can not believe that you are griping because some ppl that just didnt know that they were supposed to use your super leet builds were doing something different. the nerve that some ppl have astounds me!

Yes, that would be awesome. I don't have access to GW every other weekend, so I've missed 2/3 so far, and will miss the one coming up. -.-

Here is an idea that might confuse some of you.
If you wish to see changes made, write Anet with your suggestions. If enough people have the same idea for game improvement then Anet is more likely to implement said suggestion.
I know this forum is great and all but I doubt Anet has ever read it. B----ing and moaning about it (for or agaist) does nothing. I have seen one or two petions on here. Why not sign them.
As far as the weekends: They are trying to insure that the 14-20ish crowd who generally has a short attention span and is off weekends, continues to play the game. Its a marketing ploy. Now you can either benfit from it or ignore it. I seldom participate in the weekend events. As for the holidays its nice and all but I am more for playing the game. I did like the one guy moaning about not using tested builds. "Oh my god they arent sheep!" For me the best part is trying new builds, or coming up with my own.
So for all the, as Coach Boomer calls them, "whiner babies", chill out stfu and play the game or leave. WoW always needs more Noobs.

If you write to ANet, they will just auto-respond telling you to come here. And yes, they do read these forums.
Now, I think that, much like the PvP extreme weekend event, this event was made to test the possibility of a future change. I suspect opening the elite areas is something they are considering as a permenant change.

I quite like how ArenaNet try and keep us occupied, but they'll soon start running out of ideas. They need to keep it so as to restrict newer players from ruining the more 'veteran-like' players' experiences, whilst also providing the newer players with a chance to get their hands on awesome drops and the like, which they've done an OK job of with the chestdrop week.

Personally i'm glad about this new event. In truth no one really wants to pay large sums of gold for a single weapon. Everyone should have a chance to get decent weapons without a huge price tag attached. So this chest drop weekend is definitely a good thing for the community. I much prefer enjoying myself than grinding for gold.
